Citing government sources, it was stated that the Prime Minister reaffirmed his resolve to continue serving the country with complete dedication and commitment. In a post on X, while seeking blessings from Lord Ganesha, he prayed for the country's continuous progress and development.
A journey of 25 years
Narendra Modi took the oath as the Chief Minister of Gujarat on 7 October 2001. Following this, he served as the Chief Minister of Gujarat for three terms and became the Prime Minister in 2014. As Prime Minister, he is leading the government after winning the Lok Sabha elections for the third consecutive time. In this way, he has remained the head of government continuously since 2001.
Union Cabinet resolution and congratulations
A day earlier, on Tuesday, the Union Cabinet passed a resolution in its meeting to congratulate the Prime Minister on his 25 years of continuous leadership. On Wednesday, several leaders, including Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, extended their congratulations to him.
Yogi Adityanath wrote on X that this is a moment of immense joy for everyone, and he mentioned the Prime Minister's commitment to public service and the spirit of "Nation First." Vice President Radhakrishnan wished the Prime Minister on the completion of 25 years of service to the nation. According to reports, "Seva Sankalp" programs are also being organized by the BJP and NDA on this occasion.
