A sense of gratitude

Modi said that when he looks back, he sees only a sense of gratitude. According to him, those who helped him win taught him to be humble, and those who brought him down taught him how to stand up again. He said that well-wishers encouraged him, while critics taught him to look within. Those who supported him showed the power of trust, and those who opposed him explained the power of democracy. He also said that every crisis was a test of his patience, and every success increased his responsibility.

Contribution of the public and party workers

The Prime Minister said that several Assembly and Lok Sabha elections were held during his tenure, and the public expressed their trust in him every time. He paid tribute to India's democracy and Constitution and greeted the citizens participating in the 'Seva Jyoti Yatra'. According to him, the biggest contribution to whatever position he holds today is that of the public, whom he considers a form of God. Modi said that the trust of crores of countrymen and the hard work of lakhs of party workers is his greatest strength.

He said that the country has given him a lot, which is why his obligation towards the country is the greatest, and every citizen has the biggest claim on him. He described this public trust and experience of 25 years as a great asset and said that this asset is not just his, but the entire country's.

Prayer at the temple and memories of school days

Modi mentioned that he had gone to the Shri Vinayak Temple for darshan in the morning and prayed there for 140 crore countrymen and for himself, that he may get the strength to serve the country day and night. He also recalled his school days in Vadnagar and said that he still considers himself a student and tries to learn something new every day.

'Sabka Prayas' and the goal of 2047

The Prime Minister said that he had spoken about 'Sabka Prayas' (everyone's effort) from the Red Fort. Mentioning the enthusiasm and spirit required to take India to new heights, he reiterated the message of "We Will Do It" and said that the country will become developed by 2047.

Background of the program

This program is part of the BJP's 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan', which is being conducted to mark Modi's 25 years of public service tenure as Chief Minister of Gujarat and then as Prime Minister. Under this, Seva Jyoti Yatras and Sankalp Sabhas are being organized in many cities of the country. According to reports, the Union Cabinet had passed a resolution on Tuesday congratulating the Prime Minister on completing 25 years as the head of the government.
