मुंबई। वैक्सीन निर्माता कंपनी सीरम इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ इंडिया (SII) के CEO अदार पूनावाला अब फिल्म निर्माता करण जौहर की धर्मा प्रोडक्शंस कंपनी के हिस्सेदार हो गए हैं। खबर है कि उन्होंने धर्मा प्रोडक्शंस के 50 फीसदी हिस्सेदारी खरीद ली है। पूनावला ने एक हजार करोड़ रुपये में यह डील की है।
50 प्रतिशत के बने हिस्सेदार
मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक इस करार के तहत फिल्म एंड टेलिविजन प्रोडक्शन एंड डिस्ट्रीब्यूशन कंपनी धर्मा प्रॉडक्शंस का वैल्यूएशन करीब 2000 करोड़ रुपये किया गया है। रिपोर्ट में कहा गया है कि अदार यह निवेश अपनी पर्सनल कैपेसिटी में कर रहे हैं। वे धर्मा प्रोडक्शंस के 50 प्रतिशत के हिस्सेदार बन गए हैं।
50 फीसदी पर करण जौहर का रहेगा स्वामित्व
करण जौहर के धर्मा प्रोडक्शन में प्रमुख हिस्सेदारी हासिल करने की दौड़ में अदार पूनावाला ने रिलायंस और सारेगामा को पीछे छोड़ दिया है। पूनावाला ने धर्मा का 50 फीसदी हिस्सा लिया है, शेष 50 फीसदी पर करण जौहर का स्वामित्व रहेगा।

इस डील के विषय में टिप्पणी करते हुए करण जौहर ने कहा, ‘शुरुआत से ही धर्मा प्रोडक्शंस दिल छू लेने वाली कहानी कहने का पर्याय रहा है, जो भारतीय संस्कृति के सार को दर्शाता है।
मेरे पिता ने ऐसी फिल्में बनाने का सपना देखा था, जो एक स्थायी प्रभाव छोड़ें और मैंने अपना करियर उस नजरिए को विस्तार देने के लिए समर्पित किया। आज, जब हम अदार साथ मिलकर काम कर रहे हैं, तो हम धर्मा की विरासत को नई ऊंचाइयों पर ले जाने के लिए तैयार हैं’।
